Chisa Yamaguchi


Chisa Yamaguchi, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, was born to a cultural legacy that spans across multiple oceans and borders. Holding two bachelors degrees from UCLA, one in Asian American Studies and the other in World Arts and Cultures, she has dedicated her life to exploring profound storytelling through the arts. As the Associate Manager for Sozo Artists Inc., she is honored to be involved in artist booking, management and creative producing. Her professional background includes working with DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion® for the past ten years as a touring performing artist, Education Director, Institute Director and Marketing Director. In addition to dance, Chisa is a certified yoga instructor specializing in Vinyasa flow, pre and post-natal yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga Tune Up Ball Therapy and is a certified Reiki Master. She is a Master Teacher through The Music Center of Los Angeles and has extensive training in the Visual and Performing Arts Standards along with arts education curriculum development. Chisa has myriad teaching credits that include both national and international teaching residencies, as well as numerous custom-designed lecture series' given around the world. Her other positions and associations include: 2016-18 APAP Leadership Fellow, 2016 Huffines Fellow, adjunct dance faculty at California State University, Los Angeles.
