A young Susan B. Anthony discovers why women MUST have the vote.

Miriam Reed, actor and writer, shortly after earning her Ph.D. in Literature of the Theatre from UCLA, co-founded LAWTF with Adilah Barnes. Adilah then nurtured the Festival to its current success.  Reed, like Adilah, is passionate about women taking their power, as shown in her solo plays: “Susan B. Anthony Says a Word”; “Louisa May Alcott: Living Little Women”; “Margaret Sanger: Radiant Rebel.
Reed as writer, is equally passionate about the power of compassionate action and presents ideas that can make a difference in her books: Margaret Sanger: Her Life in  Her Words, The Bear With One Hair on A Stair with No Chair, and Japan 1908, China 1908. Miriam lives in Ashland, Oregon, with her beloved Border Collie, Marnie.
